YORKVILLE HIGHLANDS HOSTS THEIR ANNUAL HIGHLANDS WINE FESTIVAL AT MEYER FAMILY CELLARS ON SATURDAY AUGUST 28TH

YORKVILLE, CALIF. – July 6th, 2009 – Every Year on the last Saturday in August the Yorkville Highlands Wine Festival is hosted at Meyer Family Cellars, located near mile marker 34.20 (between Cloverdale and Boonville) from 2:00 until 7:00 pm. Wine lovers and families alike, are encouraged to attend this fun filled day in the scenic Yorkville Highland rolling hills.

Highlights will include tasting Yorkville wines made and grown within the region, a tour of Meyer Family Cellars, delicious regional cuisine featuring roast pork and savory lamb barbeque, live music, a tempting silent auction along, and fun activities such as a grape stomp competition, the barrel roll race and other winery games suitable for both adults and children.
Early bird tickets are $40 before August 1st and $60 thereafter. For information, please call 707-895-2341. With past sold out attendance, it is highly suggested that people order their tickets in advance of the August 1st “early bird” deadline.
